We've been having a good time bird watching.
It has been so fun to see new birds!
The kids colored this little guy in their nature note-books this week.
Ellie is pretty sure she has spotted three different types of chickadees!
This one is the black-capped chickadee,
and we are pretty sure we've also spotted the
mountain chickadee and the chestnut-backed chickadee.
Tonight Drew and I came home from the store
with a HUGE bag of black oil sunflower seeds
and a couple of blocks of suet.
We've put them up and are hoping some different types of
birdies will find our back-yard appetizing!!
