our new home in Edmonds

"We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner peace behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf... " Hebrews 6:19-20

I went to Walmart to buy cute drawer liners and had to buy myself a house warming gift from
the Pioneer Woman!
The day I realized our new house was two miles from this:
Gettin' her done, slowly but surely.
Home sweet home...
Creativity in action!
My boy worked so hard with me this morning!
And the painting goes on and on and on. We're gonna be so done with paint when this little place is finished, but I think its gonna be worth the pain!!
Gettin' use to her new space.
New back yard adventures...
I'm not quite sure the sweet pup is diggin' the new place yet.
Hopefully she will feel home soon!!
We woke up in a new home this morning. (6/18/16)
We are in love. So, so thankful!
And of course my dear man had to get on the roof to clean out the sky lights.
I love him!

it's the small things.. end of May beginning of June

Well good mornin'!
Exodus 3:7,8: "God said, 'I've taken a good, long look at the affliction of my people in Egypt. I've heard their cries for deliverance from their slave masters; I know all about their pain. And now I have come down to help them, pry them loose from the grip of Egypt, get them out of that country and bring them to a good land with wide-open spaces, a land lush with milk and honey...
My heart was SO happy teaching this precious group of kids.
I will never forget this year and what the Lord taught me through them!!
Trying to "pair down" our treasures because we are trusting the Father has many
more for us to find!! It sure is hard though.
I still can't quite believe that I drop my girl off to take a ferry to go see her bestie. Living in the Northwest is pretty AMAZING!!

And one more from today to remember Whit's mail from Nannie. (From her trip to Vietnam!)

 She's officially a senior!!

Abby to me this morning, "This is my song to you, Mom." gosh... I love that girl!
