Our long weekend started with watching Ellie perform in a
"Pop Festival" on Friday night. She did such a fabulous job!
We are so very proud of her progress.
After the recital (in which her good friend
Kei also performed), we were treated to a concert by
Peter, the "Prince of Piano." It was a fun family event.
Saturday found our family at yet another event. This time a
high school graduation and party. The service was
pretty long, but I was SO PROUD of how well the children
did. The young man who graduated
went to Africa with the pastor last summer. . . We had a lovely time.
Sunday, besides enjoying being with our church family and hearing
God's Word preached, we hung out at the William's house
for our monthly intern lunch/fellowship. It was a BEAUTIFUL day,
and the kids got to swim for the second time this summer season.
Yesterday (Memorial Day), Ellie and I got to do a little shopping
for summer clothes and the boys did yard work. We all headed
to a birthday party in the afternoon and enjoyed hanging with
some other families. God is SO good.
I hope you all had a blessed weekend as well. . .
