We were headed out the door for evening church and I asked, "Whit, do you want your blanket?" In a very exasperated tone she responded, "NO, I'm NOT going to suck my thumb anymore. . . I'm giving my blankie to Chasey!"
I got some new coloring books for the kids. Whit brought one of them to me and asked, "Can I paint in this book?" I responded, "No, you can only color." Pointing to the word 'CRAYOLA' on the front cover she said in a confident tone, "It doesn't say 'CO-LOR' it says 'PAI-AINT'. . ."
She is a real trip and I love THAT trip!!! Did she follow through with the blanket? Thanks for all your family "quips"! We enjoy them so much. lv to you all! nwmom

I just love this age & all the little quotes. Today when we had that little earthquake, Cami asked me "is that the monsters comin?" I quickly assured her there were no monsters coming. :-)
