The Swap

I wanted to share a few pictures, over the next few days,
of recent happenings in our family life.
On Saturday, we decided to "swap" the girls' rooms.
For whatever reason, when we first moved in this wonderful rental,
I did not want to put the little girls in the bigger, middle room.
Upon further thought, Ellie and I decided that all involved
would be happier if the rooms were swapped.
Ellie would have a "cozier" atmosphere,
and the little girls would have much more needed floor space.
(Abby had decided that she did not want to be on the top of a bunk,
therefore the floor space in their original room had greatly shrunk!)

After MUCH hard work, we got everything switched.
Drew took apart the twin beds, which was a great help,
and all involved were WORN OUT by the end of the day!!
BUT, things were settled enough for them to cozy up that night. . .
in their new spaces!!!
Ellie is becoming quite the decorator!
She has such good taste, and I am amazed at her choices.
She seems so grown up compared to where I was at her age!
She left her mirror for the little girls in exchange for a full length one,
and also her "wall decor" as she got some new stickers from Aunt Heidi for Christmas.
I was so proud of all of them throughout this whole process.
How the Lord has blessed our family with a wonderful place to live!
