Last Sunday evening, our family had a "Roman Feast."
As I mentioned before, we've been studying ancient Rome,
and we are now moving on into the Middle Ages.
So, as a culmination of our study, our curriculum suggested a feast!
And of course the children were so very excited. . . .
Our menu:
Carrot and raisin salad
Cheese and wheat crackers
Artichokes
Hard boiled eggs
Chicken legs. . .
(which were suppose to be thrown on the floor when they were done!)
Grape Juice
Dessert:
Dried apricots, cherries and figs
Pomegranate and Apples
Of course, everything was eaten with our hands.
It was a bit messy!
Everyone was dressed beautifully, thanks to Ellie.
And the after meal entertainment. . .
Well, it couldn't have been better!
Even dad participated!
It will definitely be a sweet memory for all.
That is so awesome Anna! What a fun memory.
