catching up

So, I'm a bit behind..... my folks have been gone for over a week,

and I still haven't finished posting about their trip. 

I guess that's what happens when you have more company :)

My brother and his family got to come visit last week from San Diego,

and O, do I have more pics to share!! 

Before I do though, I wanted to share some sweet pics

of an afternoon with my dad, #4, and #5.

 We walked on the Kingston Ferry, 

road 20 minutes across the sound,

got off on the other side,

walked up and down the one block town,

 had ice cream,

walked back on the ferry,

and rode back home. 

 We actually did the same thing with my brother's family. 

It is one of the cheaper ways to get a ferry experience! 

And you can see Mt. Rainier and the Seattle sky-line to boot. 

Perfect for an afternoon with young children! 

It was quite odd to have only two of my five,

but such a joy to be able to focus on them.

These two have quite a love for each other,

which has been so sweet to watch develop.....
