As promised..... here are pictures of the rest of our day, that is last Thursday!
Heidi and Chase were visiting, and we headed north to see Ellie's
horseback lessons and then on up to Num Num and Papa's
beautiful home in the country!
I was especially excited to share one of my favorite
places on earth with Heidi and Chase for the first time....
We arrived before it was dark, and Num Num greeted Chase
with a HUGE stuffed bunny rabbit.
The children got to get out their wiggles and run
around in their wonderful yard.
The girls had watched the movie Aristocats on the way,
and share a love for the little kitten Marie.
They had fun with their little stuffed animals...
and it was such a joy to watch them play.
I couldn't quite get enough of Chasey's pink cow-girl boots!!
Since moving to the Northwest, Num Num has treated us each to
beautiful birthday dinners. Chase and Heidi had arrived
on my birthday the day before, but we really celebrated this night.
Isn't the table beautiful?
I am amazed at how different and lovely it looks each time we come.
I need some table-decorating lessons!!
It is always so sweet... and entertaining to watch the children at these occasions.
.....using the fine tableware, dinner conversation, table manners.....
Of course we usually
have a few spills, but it is always so worth it!!
Once again, another first.....
TWO aunties, and my TWO sisters.....
together for my birthday!
(Thank you BOTH for making it SO SPECIAL!!!)
Chase was quite taken with the "wine" in the lovely cups.
Actually it was grape juice, but she had not idea!
We all had such fun making such a big deal about it!!
She asked for and got seconds :)
The dinner consisted of wonderful, fresh northwest Salmon,
and then was followed by a delicious chocolate cake.....
nothing beats being sung to and having a cake with candles
presented to you!!!
Thank you Num Num for making my birthday incredibly momentous.....
like only you can do!!
(More pictures of our adventures with Heidi and Chase to follow :)
