Thanksgiving in San Diego ~ part 1

catching up ~ November 21-27, 2014

For Thanksgiving this past year, we split up for the first time. My dad offered to fly us, to meet up with him and my mom at my brother's house, for the holiday. Ellie could not take off the whole week, and the Pastor had limited vacation time, so I decided to take him up on the offer and fly with the four older children. (And Ellie and her daddy stayed here for the week in a peaceful, quiet house!)

The cousins had really been missing each other, and I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. It was a really sweet week. 

This first group of pictures were taken at the beginning of the trip when we were all at John and Heidi's house. (Later in the week we all moved to a larger home that someone had offered to let us use.)
